Nephrology Fellowship Benefits, Application Process and Contacts

Benefits: The current starting salary for a PGY 4 fellow is $58,500 with full medical and dental benefits. All fellows are eligible for a month of vacation a year.

We accept applications through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) and participate in the National Residency Match Program (NRMP).

The ERAS applications will begin being reviewed on July 15, 2016. Selected applicants will be invited to visit for personal interviews with our faculty. Interviews will be held on scheduled Thursdays in August and September. The academic year begins July 1, 2017.

ERAS application materials must include:

  • Three letters of recommendation (including a letter from the Program Director of your internal medicine residency program)
  • Personal statement
  • Official medical school transcripts
  • Medical Student Performance Evaluation (MSPE)
  • USLME Transcript if applicable
  • Valid ECFMG certificate for foreign medical school graduates if applicable
  • Photograph
