Sites:

  • UH - University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center (Fellows will gain a broad experience in the evaluation and management of hospitalized adult patients with a comprehensive array of acute and chronic infectious diseases problems (including infectious complications in organ transplant recipients) and HIV infection.
  • VA - Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center (Fellows will gain a broad experience in the evaluation and management of hospitalized adult patients with a comprehensive array of acute and chronic infectious diseases problems and HIV infection.
  • Metro - MetroHealth Medical Center (MetroHealth Medical Center, which is a regional adult trauma and burn center and also houses the TB control and treatment program for Cuyahoga County, will provide the fellows with a unique experience in the infectious complications of burns and trauma and an enriched experience in the diagnosis and management of TB).
  • Carpenter - Carpenter Service at UH Cleveland Medical Center (Patients with HIV needing acute inpatient care are preferentially admitted to the Carpenter Team).
